Saturno 3 - CAD/CAM auto cutting system
Saturno 3 is an automatic CAD / CAM system made to cut sheets, strips and reels. The automatic loader allows the material loading even during the processing phase. It also allows the automatic loading of 2, 3, 4 or more sheets in the multi-sheet mode (counterforts and toe cups).
The cutting heads, mechanically operated, allow to process any type of material up to 10 mm thickness, including fibers, coupled, elastomers, thermoplastic, leather and regenerated leather.
Saturno 3 , by its double head system, ensures high productivity while the rigid cutting table allows a perfectly uniform and high quality processing on both sides of the cut pieces.
The objective to reach a perfect cut of the pattern has been achieved by the mechanical locking system also. This technology, based on the pressure in several areas of the material, allows set to zero the high energy consumption and to save a lot of power in comparison to the vacuum system.
Product design and selection of working programs can be performed by simple operations using our "lea cad" software.
The new generation technologies used, such as the processor and the new digital CNC control, place Saturno 3 at the top of automatic cutting systems available today on the world market.
The Saturn line has always been the best automatic system for cutting multilayers for large productions.
The new optical vision system allows manual nesting of the pieces directly on the machine.
